Strizh train from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod
Moscow — Nizhny Novgorod high-speed train Strizh carried more than 79000 passengers in the first month of service.
Strizh trains began running on the 1st of June 2015. Since July, the number of services was increased from 5 to 7 per day, with the maximum number running on Fridays.
Numerous Strizh trains stop at Vladimir, Kovrov and Dzerzhinsk stations, but there are also direct services. The minimum travel time is 3 hours 35 minutes.
The train includes cars with seating in 1st and 2nd class carriages, sleeping cars (VIP), a buffet car and a dining car. The carriages are equipped with air conditioning and environmentally friendly toilet units.
